The February meeting of the ACIA Board will take place the 4th Monday, February 27, 2012, at Rosemont Assisted Living Center, 6450 Kings Parkway, second floor meeting room, starting time of 6:30 PM for the public session.
At the ACIA meeting January 23, 2012 the board elected the new officers and voted on positions and duties as follows:
President - Robert Segraves
Vice President - Jimmy Wells
Secretary & Treasurer - Laura Lammers
Jimmy Wells will handle security
Laura Lammers will handle communications and oversee the ACC
Kyle Adams will continue handling Parks & Recreation
The board did not vote on the handling of Beautification
Janel Dale has been appointed to replace Ms. Lammers on the ACC
** The Marina is beautiful with the new shade awnings! This cover will offer protection from the sun and weather, and a nice picnic spot for our community. A second smaller shade structure close to where the earth peninsula was removed offers a shady area at the front of the pier to enter and exit watercraft! We hope everyone will enjoy the new ramp, look forward to the return of boating weather and the lake! Final additions, budget permitting, will include some tables and benches to make the marina a family friendly area for our community. I hope everyone enjoys the new and improved ACIA Marina. The Board of Trustees of the ACIA are proud that Atascocita is one of the fastest growing residential neighborhoods in the nation. - Atascocita Shores and Pinehurst of Atascocita neighborhoods which also offer beautiful lake and water front lots, as well as beautiful homes within this elegant tree lined neighborhood. We also offer a large marina, tennis courts and swimming pool facilities for its residents. Amenities throughout the ACIA are available for all residents.
