 All residents should be diligent in keeping garage doors closed, doors locked and automobiles secure.

With the closing of the Golf Course, there has been an increase in people using the golf course property as a bike path, jogging path and general playground.  This property is "Private Property" and residents should NOT be on this property.  Residents should be diligent and keep watch for suspicious people on the golf course property, especially at night and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.  Recently, there have been an increased number of burglaries in our area.  These cases and possible suspects are being investigated.

Sergeant Lekas asked that area residents be especially vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

People walking or running in the neighborhood are asked to take note of any suspicious people or actions and inform the Constables.

There are also some people who look for opportunities for easy thefts, such as open garage doors.  A number of this type of theft has occurred recently.

I would like to repeat the main suggestions from the Constables:

• If you have an alarm system, always activate it when you leave your home. 
• Be sure that your garage door is closed.
• Remember to lock doors, both house and cars – home or way.
• Do not leave valuables in you car in the street or driveway.
• If you see suspicious activity, call the Constables at the 24 hour dispatch at: 281-376-3472
